(LIVE STREAM) PRESIDENT TRUMP WARSAW SPEECH

July 6, 2017 President Donald Trump Poland Speech Warsaw Ceremony.

On the day before the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany President Trump, Melania, Ivanka and Jared Kushner traveled to Warsaw, Poland to attend the Three Seas Initiative meeting. President Trump delivered a historic speech after a wreath laying ceremony at Krasinski Square. The Washington Post called it "dark" which means that it had depth. Indeed, Trump appealed to Western Enlightenment values, reminding us of the common good as represented and defended by the Polish people throughout their recent history under Nazi and communist occupation.

PUTIN/TRUMP BILATERAL AT THE G20

July 8, 2017 G20 Hamburg Presser, departure of Trump party.

Globalists are economic illiterates, mental collectivists and moral altruists. Win/win, value alliances and national interests based on democracy are not part of their thought processes. Their world is a cake. So it's consensus by compromizing of values and redistribution. The Hamburg summit's motto: "Shaping an Interconnected world" stressing the globalist fallacy of "peace through interdependence". Globalists are basically stuck in the feudal, pre Enlightenment world. On the outside are the rioters setting Hamburg ablaze, protesting its inequities. All eyes are now on the Putin/Trump bilateral set to begin in a few minutes from now.

Russia hacked the election

(...) With all eyes on the 'handshake' as Putin and Trump come face-to-face for the first time as world leaders, it seems the Deep State is desperately fearful of some rapprochement (...) And so, three stories (2 anonymously sourced and one with no facts behind it) in The New York Times (who recently retracted their "17 intelligence agencies" lie) and CNN (...) First off we have the 'news' that hackers have reportedly been breaking into computer networks of companies operating United States nuclear power stations, energy facilities and manufacturing plants, according to a new report by The New York Times. (...) The chief suspect is Russia, according to three people familiar with the continuing effort to eject the hackers from the computer networks. (...) Next we move to CNN who claim a 'current and former U.S. intelligence officials' told them that Russian spies have been stepping up their intelligence gathering efforts in the U.S. since the election, feeling emboldened by the lack of significant U.S. response to Russian election meddling. So that's more anonymous sourcing about Russian spies... doing what they would normally do during a presidential transition. And so finally, a third story - with CNN trotting out former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, to pin the 'Russians did it' tail on the "this is why we lost the election" donkey...  MERKEL'S POST ATLANTIC COURSE

President Trump's first trip to Riyadh, Jerusalem, Rome, Brussels and Sicily (more) has put the world on a different geopolitical footing. He has the Arab states cooperating with Israel, cemented an Sunni alliance against Iran and ISIS, closed trade and arms deals, and called out the NATO partners to pay their fair share. The problems started in Brussels where European NATO members smirked and performed awkward hand shakes. Mrs Merkel had the gall to entertain Barack Obama in an in your face provocation mere hours before President Trump's arrival. MSM observers called the G7 Summit in Sicily a failure because President Trump refused to play ball on climate warming (cover for Government intervention in the economy after the demise of Socialism); and President Trump taking exception to Germany's $60 billion in trade surplus with the US. It prompted Merkel to remark in a campaign speech a day later, that Europe can no longer rely on America following the G7 summit.
“The times in which we could completely depend on others are on the way out. I've experienced that in the last few days. "We Europeans truly have to take our fate into our own hands. We have to fight for our destiny.”
She said Trump had turned the G7 summit into a “six against one” debate, which was “very difficult, not to say very unsatisfactory”. Her spokesman attempted to extinguish her comments, claiming the Chancellor had spoken harshly "in order to protect US-German relations".

In the VS meanwhile Merkel's remarks were taken with a sigh of relief by Conservative pundits. About time, the Europeans started standing on their own two feet, started taken responsibility for their own future, were often heard commentary. But that is not what Merkel meant.

In more likelihood the European globalists are planning to set up an alternative power structure, apart from the Atlantic Alliance and more in line with the French post WW2 posture. Case in point:

1. Prominent EU honcho Guy Verhofstadt said the European Union (EU) needs to look beyond Britain as a partner, claiming Britain had “left the table”. Just hours after Angela Merkel made similar claims about America and Donald Trump. Verhofstadt Tweeted: “Merkel says US under Trump no longer reliable partner. And UK has left the table. “It's now time for EU to re-invent itself and move forward.” Just days ago he took a swipe at Prime Minister Theresa May, accusing her of moaning. (Source)

2. Both the Indian PM Modi and the Chinese PM Li Keqiang are due in Berlin this week. "In China and India, Merkel saw the possibility of a partnership in favour of action to slow climate change and to promote free trade", noted Handelsblatt, the newspaper of Germany's business elite. (Source)

3. Merkel's French partner, Macron is in Moscow today for talks with President Putin. Is it too conspiratorial to think the Europeans want to grow closer to Russia in the post Transatlantic era?

And then there's the rift with the US on Iran, which according to the Trump doctrine, is now the formal, chief enemy, a state sponsor of terrorism and the Norks supplier of nuclear, ballistic missile technology. As it happens the Europeans were over the eye balls in Obama's Iran deal and major trading partners of Tehran.

It could just as well be construed that Merkel is handing Putin a present he could only dream of: a wedge in the Western alliance.

MOAB STRATEGIC BLOW TO ISIS

Massive MOAB about to hit target.

On Thursday, the U.S. military dropped a 21,000-pound bomb on ISIS in the Achin District of the Nangarhar Province in Afghanistan. The blast killed a reported 94 ISIS fighters with casualties still being assessed. Since 2016, the Achin District has been ISIS's primary base in Afghanistan. But with a current offensive taking place in the district with U.S. Special Forces and Afghan soldiers, that appears to all be going up in smoke. RECON Marine who hunted down Al-Qaeda after 9/11 explains why the MOAB has shaken ISIS to the core (source). Interestingly One India is reporting that 500 Pakistanis including officers of the Pakistan Intel Service ISI were blown up in the mammoth Afghan MOAB bombing. The area that was targeted was controlled by the Islamic State and protected by the Pakistan army, sources told One India.
(...) The report can't be independently verified. The operation that was jointly coordinated by the 201 Selab Corps of the Afghanistan army targeted the caves and tunnels that were used as hiding places by the IS. It is now clear that the Pakistan army was backing these IS operatives in Afghanistan, official sources also confirmed. (More)

100 DAY ACTION PLAN WITH CHINA

Speaking with reporters late Friday afternoon, Mnuchin said that the Chinese acknowledged during their meetings that they could do more to promote a more balanced trade policy between the two countries. “We focused specifically on a more balanced economic relationship, specifically on trade,” he said. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross revealed a 100-day action plan that they discussed with the Chinese, but said that the “complex” details were still under negotiations. “The exact way stations are a matter of negotiation itself,” he said. “But, directionally, the objective is to increase our exports to China and to reduce the trade deficit that we have with them.” (Source)

TRUMP'S MASTER STRIKE ON SYRIA

Let's start by stripping last night's tomahawk missile strikes on Assad's airbases from emotions and war porn. As moved as President Trump may have been earlier this week by the chemical attack on Idlib's little babies; the Geneva Convention niceties and doubts about the actual source -- the Assad regime or staged deception by the "White Helmets" -- the attack was a geopolitical master stroke by President Trump. He told the world that the Obama era is over and Pax Americana is back. With one fell swoop he not just incapacitated ten percent of Assad's airforce, but also staked out his position on a number of geostrategic questions (more)

 FARAGE EXPLAINS NATIONISM

Feb 24, 2017 Nigel Farage talks to Tucker Carlson on the nationalist movement.

UPDATE: Brexit leader Nigel Farage explains the nation state movement President Trump has brought to the GOP. Tucker Carlson interviewed UKIP’s Nigel Farage about the Brexit, President Donald Trump’s Speech at CPAC 2017, and the shift from globalism to nation-state sovereignty. Farage prefers to refer to Brexit, and Trump’s US election win, as a nationism, not nationalism. There is an essential difference. Nationalism implies an ethnic, collectivist component, whereas nationism is the exact opposite, emanating from grassroots democracy. Farage says the real fascists are the globalist Left, who shut down debate and opinions they don't like.

DER SPIEGEL GOES THIRD REICH

The cover illustration of DER SPIEGEL this week.

The EU is no priority on President Trump's list of top urgent matters. Apart from a trade agreement and restoring the special relationship with Britain, continental Europe is a distant blip on his radar. But President Trump is very much on the radar of the EU, of which Germany has emerged as the leading nation. As Trumpian US and globalist EU are mutually exclusive, the two world views are bound to lock horns for a show down at some point. Just how aware the German press is of the impending confrontation may be gauged from the following stunning and belligerent article in the German magazine of record, Der Spiegel. Belligerent is perhaps the wrong word. It is hate mongering and vicious propaganda not seen since the fall of the Third Reich.

Trump as Nero

Europe Must Defend Itself Against A Dangerous President

The United States president is becoming a danger to the world. It is time for Germany and Europe to prepare their political and economic defenses.
(...) It is literally painful to write this sentence, but the president of the United States is a pathological liar. The president of the U.S. is a racist (it also hurts to write this). He is attempting a coup from the top; he wants to establish an illiberal democracy, or worse; he wants to undermine the balance of power. He fired an acting attorney general who held a differing opinion from his own and accused her of "betrayal." This is the vocabulary used by Nero, the emperor and destroyer of Rome. It is the way tyrants think. Donald Trump and his fire-starter Stephen Bannon discriminate against certain people by decree, but not against those from countries in which Trump does business. The contempt the president of the United States and his most important adviser have for science and education is so blatant that it's almost difficult to write. But their disdain for climate and environmental policies has to be stated, because four or eight years of it could become a serious threat. (...)
It goes on and on....read more. A tip for those who care to analyse the vitriol remember that hatred says more about the hater than the hated. These globalists are very, very afraid. They are fighting for their life.

TRUMP SNUBS EUROCRATS

It was announced today that EU's Federica Mogherini (foreign affairs) and Dimitris Avramopoulos (migration) will travel to the American capital to hold talks with US officials, but it is not thought they will meet any top members of Mr Trump’s team. EU officials also admitted they have made little to no progress in trying to chase up their invitation for Mr Trump to attend an EU-US summit with European leaders. But it gets worse.
The revelations come on the same day the Republican’s pick for his new ambassador to Brussels launched an extraordinary attack on the bloc, saying the new President will take “no bull****” from the EU. Ted Malloch stunned listeners this morning as he turned the air blue with his outburst, accusing European leaders of engaging in “baby talk and political correctness”.
US Vice-President Mike Pence will visit Brussels later this month and it is expected he will hold talks with top eurocrats including EU Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker. (...) Things have got so bad that the Republican [Trump, CT.] has apparently threatened to expel the EU’s ambassador to Washington if MEPs in the European Parliament go ahead with a threat to try and block Prof Malloch from being appointed. TURNBULL KNEW TRUMP WOULD NIX DEAL

Turnbull thought he could outsmart Donald Trump and trap him into taking 1250 of our boat people. Huge mistake, and now he’s been humiliated. There is no surprise that an angry Trump attacked Turnbull in their call at the weekend and hung up halfway through, after just 25 minutes. What did Turnbull expect? This political disaster was always on the cards from the moment Turnbull announced, on November 13 last year, that he’d signed a deal with then US president Barack Obama to take our boat people detained on Nauru and Manus Island. That was very dumb because just five days earlier Trump had been unexpectedly elected the next president, having campaigned hard against exactly this kind of thing. (...)

 AUSTRALIA CALL WAS FAKE NEWS

So-called “News outlets” like NY Daily News, NY Times, Salon, Vice, and others reported that President Trump had a “disastrous” call with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, and some suggested President Trump “HUNG UP” on him. Turns out, that was just more FAKE NEWS from our dishonest media. The matter was cleared up down under by a local TV station who tweeted out Turnbull’s disgust at the lie, claiming Trump “hung up” on him.

 WHO LEAKED THE AUSTRALIA CALL?

On Saturday President Trump spoke with Australian RINO Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull regarding an unsavory agreement Obama to take in 1,250 refugees, as if it were a consignment of slaves or cattle! President Trump reportedly responded by saying that trading 1,250 refugees currently being held by Australia in an offshore island, against some 1,500 Central American illegals in Costa Rica, would be "the worst deal ever." Which ended the conversation. The account of the phone call seems to contradict that of the White House, which said that the two men "emphasized the enduring strength and closeness of the U.S.-Australia relationship that is critical for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region and globally."  Kellyanne Conway took to Fox News this morning blaming Australia for leaking the call. Australia's PM wants to get rid of the refugees because they are a massive political problem for him. But why is the U.S. required to solve it? And -- you can't make this up -- ISIS pal John McCain entered the mix by calling the Australian Embassador "to fix the issue"!

FLYNN PUTS IRAN "ON NOTICE"

Feb 1, 2017 National Security Adviser Michael Flynn says the US has put Iran "on notice".

National Security Advisor Michael Flynn says the US has put Iran "on notice" over a provocative Iranian ballistic missile firing. He says it is in defiance of A UN Security resolution. He says Trump has criticized the agreement President Barack Obama made with Iran is "weak and ineffective" and now Iran is feeling "emboldened." "As of today we are officially putting Iran on notice." White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was later asked what "putting on notice" meant and he refused to elaborate. EUROPE ALLYING WITH CHINA?

A global game of geopolitical chess is emerging. Opposing Trump's renaissance of Democratic Nationalism are not just the Eurocrats. Canada's Trudeau it seems has ambitions to become the leader of the Globalist camp. Some Eurocrats are threatening to abandon the Atlantic outlook, and take their business to China. Their mindset is exceedingly immature. Good luck with that! They won't know what hit them: Trump is a master negotiator who is mentally ten steps ahead.
(...) Some allies are shifting focus to other potential partners for new sources of trade and investment, relationships that could influence political, diplomatic and military ties. Many are looking to China, which has adroitly capitalized on a leadership vacuum in world affairs by offering itself — ironies notwithstanding — as a champion for global engagement.
“We’ve always said that America is our best friend,” Jeroen Dijsselbloem, president of the Eurogroup — comprising finance ministers from countries sharing the euro currency — said in an interview with The New York Times on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, this month.
“If that’s no longer the case, if that’s what we need to understand from Donald Trump, then of course Europe will look for new friends.” “China is a very strong candidate for that,” he added.
“The Chinese involvement in Europe in terms of investment is already very high and expanding. If you push away your friends, you mustn’t be surprised if the friends start looking for new friend.
On Wednesday, Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany spoke by telephone with Premier Li Keqiang of China. “The two spoke in favor of free trade and a stable world trade order,” a German government spokesman later said in a written statement. (More on NYT)

 "EXTREME VETTING" TAKES EFFECT

Travellers with valid visas have reportedly being prevented from boarding flights and turned away at US border control after Donald Trump signed an executive order banning citizens of seven Middle Eastern countries from entering the United States. Mr Trump signed an executive order closing US borders to all refugees for a period of at least four months and temporarily banning all travellers from half a dozen countries, regardless of whether they have already been issued visas, on Friday evening.
"We want to ensure that we are not admitting into our country the very threats our soldiers are fighting overseas" (...) "We only want to admit those into our country who will support our country and love deeply our people."
The order, which came into force as soon as Mr Trump signed it, requires US border officials to turn away any traveller from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen for the next 90 days. With only a few exceptions for diplomats and dual citizens, the order takes no account of whether travellers have already been issued with visas or have visited the United States before.

There were immediate reports of travellers who had been issued visas for travel being turned away or told not to board flights because of the ban. Mohammed Al Rawi, a graduate of California State University and former journalist with the Los Angeles Times, said his father had been hauled off a flight in Qatar as a direct result of Mr Trump's decision. (...)

Five Iraqi passengers and one Yemeni were barred from boarding an EgyptAir flight from Cairo to New York on Saturday. The passengers, arriving in transit to Cairo airport, were stopped and re-directed to flights headed for their home countries despite holding valid visas, Reuters reported. Some airlines have warned that all passengers whose journeys began in any of the seven countries may be affected, even if their own citizenship is not on the "banned" list. (More)

MEXICAN HUBRIS SINKS PESO

Fox News just reported that the two presidents had an hour long friendly phone call this morning. Negotiations are a process that may take some time. To be continued. ++

As it turns out the Mexican President canceled on Trump before Trump canceled on the Mexican President. The clash is the postmodern pretense that all countries are equal. They are not. Let's put this into context: these are economic negotiations. Mexico is the supplicant, the US the supplier. Trump is the master of this process; Mexico had better learn this soon. Mexico shoukd reign in the expletive slinging corruptocrat, its former President Fox. Breitbart has this not so old news:
(...) An in-depth investigation has revealed that through the use of shell companies, members of the Juarez Cartel financed the political campaign of Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. The cartel members appear to have also used government programs to launder money and profit form their networks of contacts. The bombshell revelation was made this week by the independent news outlet Aristegui Noticias who claim that top officials of the Juarez Cartel financed thousands of cash cards that were handed out by Mexico’s Revolutionary Institutional Party (PRI) during the 2012 political campaign that resulted in the victory of Enrique Pena Nieto. According to the Mexican journalists, the cash cards were provided by a company called Monex. They were reported to be financed through a series of shell corporations by key players with the Juarez Cartel. (More)

 MEXICAN PRES. CANCELS WH MEETING

Mexico's President Enrique Peña Nieto said Thursday he will not attend a scheduled meeting with President Donald Trump next week, amid growing outrage south of the border over Trump's plan to build wall between the neighboring nations. He made the announcement that he would skip the Jan. 31 session a few minutes before noon on his Twitter account. This is the translated text:
"This morning we informed the White House that I will not attend the working meeting scheduled for next Tuesday with @POTUS. Mexico reiterates its willingness to work with the United States to reach agreements on behalf of both nations." (More)

TRUMP PREPARES ANTI TERRORISM ORDERS

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to sign executive orders (...) that include a temporary ban on most refugees and a suspension of visas for citizens of Syria and six other Middle Eastern and African countries (...) Another order will block visas being issued to anyone from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, said the aides and experts, who asked not to be identified. The border security measures probably include directing the construction of a border wall with Mexico and other actions to cut the number of illegal immigrants living in the United States. The sources say the first of the orders will be signed on Wednesday. With Trump considering measures to tighten border security, he could turn his attention to the refugee issue later this week. OBAMA BUREAUCRATS IN REBELLION

American Governments are administrations, meaning that the entire apparatus of state is replaced when a new President is elected. In practice it's not so convenient to fire the entire bureaucracy and re-hire them again after screening. Bush #43 took on a number of clerks from his predecessor out of political courtisy. But it seldom works out well, as in the case of Trump who was specifically hired to "drain the swamp". That bureaucrats can't be trusted is proved by an immediate rebellion on the part of the Obama bureaucracy. This can't end well for them.

U.S. Energy Department said on Tuesday it will not comply with a request from President-elect Donald Trump's Energy Department transition team for the names of people who have worked on climate change and the professional society memberships of lab workers. The response from the Energy Department could signal a rocky transition for the president-elect's energy team and potential friction between the new leadership and the staffers who remain in place. The memo sent to the Energy Department on Tuesday and reviewed by Reuters last week contains 74 questions including a request for a list of all department employees and contractors who attended the annual global climate talks hosted by the United Nations within the last five years. Energy Department spokesman Eben Burnham-Snyder said Tuesday the department will not comply. (More)

TIME'S HIT JOB OF THE YEAR

President Elect Donald Trump is TIME magazine’s Person of the Year.

TIME could hardly ignore America electing the most unconventional, patriotic working man's President in its history who won by a landslide, defeating both parties plus the country's establishment including the mainstream media. But the author, Zeke Miller @ZekeJMiller did the next best thing. He made one half about Trump's Democrat rivals; while the balance is a hit job on Trump personally. The subtitle sums it up: President of the Divided States of America. But it wasn't Trump who left the white, working class behind. It was a conscious decision by the Democrats pitting them against every minority they could think of.

Dec 7, 2016 Donald Trump is revealed as TIME magazine’s Person of the Year by editor-in-chief Nancy Gibbs.

The third and second place are also telling the story how the MSM see Trump's election. Third place is in the category Fake News, in which state sponsored Russian hackers "weaponized information" to "delegitimize an election" but, who in reality were never involved. It has long been established that Wikileaks did not get their information from hackers, but from a leak. For the 2nd place TIME chose Hillary Clinton as a symbol of women as victims of the "public square" which according the editorial board is still populated by the white, male patriarchy.

The mainstream media still do not get -- at all -- why Trump was elected President by the "forgotten man". The TIME article is continuing to insult Trump's men and women in the vein of Hillary's basket of deplorables. Like Alice caught in Wonderland they are simply incapable of snapping out of the false looking glass. But that's alright. There are still a number of battles to be won. So let's keep the cat in the bag a little while longer. In the meantime Trump is winning for the people, every single day without even being sworn in yet as 45th President of the United States of America.

Update: TIME continues to highlight hate crimes by Trumpists on minorities. It has well been established by Project Veritas that the reality is exactly the opposite. And now there's this report to confirm it. Not to mention the plight of black Trump supporters who are practically fair game for liberal racist bullies!

WHY TRUMP ATTACKED BOEING

Donald Trump stunned the world again today with a few tweets on economic issues that at once rocked the stock market. Boeing shares fell, while those of SoftBank sored as Donald Trump escorted the CEO to the hall of Trump Tower to meet the press. Masa (SoftBank) of Japan has agreed to invest $50 billion in the U.S. toward businesses and 50,000 new jobs. Sundance on The Last Refuge strongly urges people to grasp the fundamental outline of Trump's economic path.

In addition to the announced investment from Masayoshi Son of Softbank, a very Trump-esque business leader within Japan, President-elect Donald Trump also made a specific point about Boeing and the contract they carry to build the next generation Airforce One fleet. Entirely missed by the MSM and those who discuss political economics is the relationship between the business model of Boeing and their relationship with China.

Over the past weekend Donald Trump fired an economic message across the Chinese bow; the message today, toward Boeing, is directly attached to the same issue(s). Not only is China demanding Boeing open a plant in China, the intent of such a plant provides an opportunity to explain why Trump, and his approach, is vitally important – and time is wasting. China is refusing to trade with (buy) Boeing products if the company does not move. Why? It’s not about putting Chinese people to work, it’s about China importing their research and development, Boeing’s production secrets, into their country so they can learn, steal and begin to manufacture their own airliners.

This is just how China works. In time, Comac, a state-owned, Shanghai-based aerospace company will then use the production secrets they have stolen, produce their own airliners, kick out Boeing, undercut the market, and sell cheaper manufactured airplanes to the global economy. Boeing, the great American company that Jeb Bush thinks they are, becomes yet another notch on the Asian market belt. All of those Boeing workers, those high-wage industrial skill jobs that support the American middle class, yeah – those jobs lost. And the cycle continues.

Of course Wall Street will be invested in the cheaper Chinese aerospace manufacturing company Comac, as it emerges as a manufacturing power. This reality within this story is a peek into the future of the fundamental disconnect between Wall Street (grows again) and Main Street (lost jobs/wages). The reality within this example is exactly what has taken place over the past three decades. (more

The issue is not about Boeing, the issue is not about Air-Force-One per se’, the larger issue is a notification to Boeing that getting in bed with China may not be in their long-term best interests. It’s subtle, unless you are within the organizational leadership construct of Boeing. For those executives, it’s subtle like a brick through a window.

In addition, the secondary benefit is a notification to all military and/or federal governmental contractors that the era of using inflated costs to power their business model profits is, well, not the same as it was before…. The era of taking advantage of America is soon to end! Donald Trump is an existential threat to all enemies, including economic enemies, foreign and domestic. (Source)

BEN CARSON JOINS THE TEAM

Dr Ben Carson has finally decided he has a role to play in the Trump administration as Secretary for Housing and Urban Development. "I feel that I can make a significant contribution particularly by strengthening communities that are most in need," Carson said in a statement released by Trump's transition team. "We have much work to do in enhancing every aspect of our nation and ensuring that our nation's housing needs are met." (More)

"The nomination of Marine Corps Gen. James N. Mattis for defense secretary was greeted on both sides of the aisle with high praise of his distinguished military service and strategic expertise, but Democrats warned that his confirmation was in jeopardy over the credo of keeping civilian control of the Pentagon." (More) It's a good job then there's Harry Reid's "nuclear option".
The added leverage of the waiver issue is magnified due to Senate Democrats in 2013 resorting to the “nuclear option,” changing the chamber’s rules to allow confirmation of President Obama’s appointments with a major vote rather than the previously required 60-vote supermajority. The new rules all but guarantee the Republican-run Senate will confirm President-elect Donald Trump’s picks.
And then there's this:

Over the weekend Donald Trump tweeted that
"The U.S. is going to substantialy reduce taxes and regulations on businesses, but any business that leaves our country for another country, fires its employees, builds a new factory or plant in the other country, and then thinks it will sell its product back into the U.S. without retribution or consequence, is WRONG! There will be a tax on our soon to be strong border of 35% for these companies wanting to sell their product, cars, A.C. units etc., back across the border. This tax will make leaving financially difficult, but these companies are able to move between all 50 states, with no tax or tariff being charged. Please be forewarned prior to making a very ... expensive mistake! THE UNITED STATES IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Free marketeers are going all bonkers over this. Even Sarah Palin is confusing tax breaks with subsidies. These are Leftist, Piketty type fallacies. This is not the Government "punishing" companies and "picking winners and losers". The Trump administration has already announced a yuuuuge improvement in business climate. Pending implementation Trump is trying to prevent companies from leaving the country. The world as a market place has turned out a disaster for national countries, creating the globalist mess we find ourselves in at present. Hence the people voting for a correction. We shall be discussing this matter at length in these pages in the future. The nation is the largest possible collective in the service of the individual. Any supranational entity is by definition anti individual and anti democratic. (More here)

"MATTIS WILL UNF*CK OUR COUNTRY"

Donald Trump's announcement that he means to nominate the 66-year-old retired four-star General Mattis as his Secretary of Defense was met with the great excitement and accolades. Mattis is the man to clean up Obama's mess in the Pentagon. The man is loved by everyone who served under him. He is as close to General Patton as you can get in the post-postmodern age. Mattis' speeches during his 44 year career have become legendary. The quote “I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you f— with me, I’ll kill you all” explains the moral question of every soldier faced with a mortal enemy. OBAMA 'ABANDONED THE WHITE WORKING CLASS'

Most of the Left are still in denial. One hesitates to let the cat out of the bag. But it's bound to come out sooner or later. Because Obama could rely on a disproportionate number of blacks and Hispanics, and the white working class is a shrinking demographic anyway, the Democrats didn't think it necessary to court them anymore. The accusation of 'abandoning the working class' fills them with horror. Yet that is what happened. This article from Nov. 2011 denies the party 'abandoned the white working class'. No, Conservatives are the evil dumb asses to conclude such a thing:

If you read Edsall’s item, it is abundantly clear that he is describing shifts in the electoral terrain, not a governing policy. There is no mention of any specific policy changes in the piece. Rather it is all about what states and demographics the Obama campaign will target.
In 2016 Donald Trump moved in to pick up the pieces of this failure. What needs to be explained here, is why every other Leftist party in the Western world followed the same logic, although that did not fit the specific demographic advantages that Obama had. They likewise left the working class to its fate, instead courting Muslims at the expense of working whites, and women's and LGBT rights. Could it be that the Left are blindly copying each others strategies and tactics without actually understanding it? It would explain a lot. But it is a giant miscalculation.

WILL ROMNEY WITHDRAW?

Mitt "Mittens" Romney effectively led the NeverTrump movement and has said truly terrible things about Donald Trump. Trump wouldn't be Trump if he wouldn't let bygones be bygones and appoint Mittens Secretary of State, if that was the pragmatic decision to make. The Dept. of State is in a mess since Hillary Clinton ran it into the ground, and Mittens as the "turn around specialist" is the man to turn it around. The Trumpkins had a Twitter storm of protest on Friday against the "unreliable traitor" #NeverRomney. Today Kellyanne Conway hit the Sunday talk show circuit. “It’s just breathtaking in scope and intensity,” Conway said of the opposition to Romney among Trump supporters. “Receiving deluge of social media & private comms re: Romney Some Trump loyalists warn against Romney as sec of state,” Conway wrote on Twitter on Thursday (...) “I felt compelled to come forward on behalf of the people who were weighing in,” Conway said of that tweet. (More) It is consistent with the idea that the GOPe is insisting Trump includes some establishment figures and NeverTrumpers in his cabinet for the sake of party unity; and the moves by Kellyanne are an effort, hoping Mittens will withdraw his application on his own accord. Let's hope he gets the message!

BEN CARSON ACCEPTS HUD POST (not so fast: update)

Today Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina was appointed UN Ambassador, while Ben Carson accepted an exciting post as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. Draining the swamp of the inner cities is a challenge right up his street. The appointment of Betsy Devos as Education Secretary is also big news. The name of Objectivist Libertarian John Allison is circulating to head the Treasury. Update: Ben Carson needs more time to figure out where he can be most effective.

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, a former presidential rival, on Wednesday accepted an offer from President-elect Donald Trump to head the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a Carson spokesman. As recently as last week, Carson had told The Washington Post he was not interested in a Cabinet job, saying, "Having me as a federal bureaucrat would be like a fish out of water." But he and Trump met on Tuesday at Trump Tower in New York, and earlier on Wednesday Carson posted on Facebook that after the talks he felt "that I can make a significant contribution particularly to making our inner cities great for everyone." The spokesman, Armstrong Williams, said Carson was offered the position of HUD secretary and had accepted it, the Journal reported. (More)

STEVE BANNON ON THE ALT-RIGHT

Steve Bannon, Trump's chief strategist.

Incoming White House Chief Strategist and Senior Counsellor to the President Stephen K. Bannon gave an interview to the Wall Street Journal, in which he addressed the barrage of media smears against himself and Breitbart News. Bannon was Executive Chairman of Breitbart News from March 2012 until August 2016 when he took a leave of absence after being appointed CEO of the Trump campaign. In his interview, he challenged one-dimensional depictions of the Alt-Right, which the media has repeatedly sought to tie him (and Breitbart) to. Bannon also highlighted the diversity of views that were given a platform at Breitbart News, while also making it clear that both he and the site had “zero tolerance” for “racial and anti-Semitic” views. He acknowledges that the site is “edgy” but insists it is “vibrant.” He offers his own definition of the alt-right movement and explains how he sees it fitting into Breitbart. “Our definition of the alt-right is younger people who are anti-globalists, very nationalist, terribly anti-establishment.” But he says Breitbart is also a platform for “libertarians,” Zionists, “the conservative gay community,” “proponents of restrictions on gay marriage,” “economic nationalism” and “populism” and “the anti-establishment.” In other words, the site hosts many views. “We provide an outlet for 10 or 12 or 15 lines of thought—we set it up that way” and the alt-right is “a tiny part of that.” Yes, he concedes, the alt-right has “some racial and anti-Semitic overtones.” He makes clear he has zero tolerance for such views. STEVE BANNON SHAPES A 'NEW POLITICAL MOVEMENT'

Special attention requires the person and role of Steve Bannon, Trump's Campaign Director who was appointed Special Counselor last week. The Left and the Democrats are pointing much of their anger and frustration caused by their historic loss towards Bannon. Racism and anti-semitism slurs are all over the place. The ADL this week retracted their accusation of anti-semitism against Bannon after a great number of Jewish colleagues pointed out the futility of that slur in the face of Breitbart Jerusalem created by Bannon. Bannon succeeded Andrew Breitbart as the CEO of Breitbart Media after his untimely death of a heart attack. Breitbart was a Democrat renegade who turned against the Left and used their own media trickery against them. He understood one philosophical reality very well: that politics is downstream from popular culture. Memes and opinions are made in and through the culture. Lawmakers translate that into laws years after the opinion has taken shaped. Bannon is of that school. He will hold the same strategic position in the Trump's inner circle that Henry Kissenger held in the Nixon administration. Hollywood Reporter has a special on Bannon. He has a specific view on national economics (as opposed to globalist economics).

Ringside With Steve Bannon at Trump Tower as the President-Elect's Strategist Plots "An Entirely New Political Movement" (Exclusive)

"I'm not a white nationalist, I'm a nationalist. I'm an economic nationalist," Bannon tells THR media columnist Michael Wolff as the controversial Breitbart News chief turned White House advisor unleashes on Hillary Clinton, Fox News and his critics. In late summer when I went up to see Steve Bannon, then recently named CEO of the Donald Trump presidential campaign, in his office at Trump Tower in New York, he outlined a preposterous-sounding scenario. Trump, he said, would do surprisingly well among women, Hispanics and African-Americans, in addition to working men, and hence take Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan — and therefore the election. On Nov. 15, when I went back to Trump Tower, Bannon, promoted by the president-elect to chief strategist for the incoming administration, and by the media as the official symbol of all things hateful and virulent about the coming Trump presidency, said, as matter-of-factly as when he first sketched it out for me, "I told you so." The liberal firewall against Trump was, most of all, the belief that the Republican contender was too disorganized, outlandish, outré and lacking in nuance to run a proper political campaign. That view was only confirmed when Bannon, editor of the outlandish and outré Breitbart News Network, took over the campaign in August. Now Bannon is arguably the most powerful person on the new White House team, embodying more than anyone the liberals' awful existential pain and fury: How did someone so wrong — not just wrong, but inappropriate, unfit and "loathsome," according to The New York Times — get it so spot-on right? In these dark days for Democrats, Bannon has become the blackest hole. (More

PUTIN CALLS TRUMP FOR COOP

Kremlin: Putin called the President- Elect on Monday how best to tackle to terrorism.

President Elect Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin have vowed to tackle ISIS together after holding breakthrough talks on the telephone. Less than a week after the billionaire’s election, the Kremlin said Putin called Trump yesterday to begin negotiations over how best to tackle to terrorism. The Russian is reported to have said he is ready for dialogue with the US “on the basis of mutual respect, non-intervention into each other’s internal affairs”. According to the news agency Kremlin, Putin and Trump have agreed to “work to channel bilateral relationships into constructive cooperation, to combine efforts to tackle international terrorism and extremism, and to continue contact by telephone and to work towards meeting in person”. "The importance of creating a solid basis for bilateral ties was underscored, in particularly by developing the trade-economic component," the Kremlin said in its statement.  It added that the countries should "return to pragmatic, mutually beneficial cooperation, which would address the interests of both countries as well as stability and safety the world over." The two men will maintain contact by phone and seek to meet each other in person, the statement said. The call is a marked shift in relations between the two countries who have been at loggerheads under the Obama administration. (Source)

EU IN DISARRAY

Nov 14, 2016 Donald Trump divided Europe last night as France joined Britain in snubbing emergency EU talks on the bloc’s approach to him.
European Union foreign ministers insisted on Sunday they expected good relations with Donald Trump, after a crisis meeting that Britain, France and Hungary snubbed in a move that exposed rifts over the US president-elect. The ministers said they wanted more details about Republican Trump’s plans following his shock election win, which has sparked anxiety in Europe due to his campaign-trail rhetoric questioning US commitment to the continent.
EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini called the special dinner on the eve of a scheduled meeting of the ministers, but some capitals criticised the decision to have an emergency meeting on a democratic election result in a key ally. “We are looking forward to a very strong partnership with the next administration, we’ve decided together to engage with the incoming administration even from this very first week of transition,” Mogherini told reporters afterwards.
