New emails and texts are being released on a daily basis. The most remarkable news is that the Senate Intelligence Committee has called on Julian Assange to testify about who really leaked the DNC emails prior to the 2016 election. Assange is seriously considering. Many are calling for President Trump to declassify all the documents. Of course he's not going to do that! October 14, 2016 – Lisa Page to Andrew McCabe: “Just called. Apparently the DAG now wants to be there, and the WH wants DOJ to host.  So we are setting that up now. We will very much need to get Cohen’s view before we meet with her. Better have him weigh in with her before the meeting. We need to speak with one voice if that is in fact the case.”

She was the go between between McCabe and the rest of the Crossfire Hurricane team. Apparently she is cooperating and is receiving more acclaim than her former lover who made dog's breakfast of his Congressional hearings.

The tumultuous 10+ hour session with Peter Strzok has yielded remarkable information and confirmed a number of points investigators had discovered from other sources. Body language and choice of words shed light on the character of the demoted FBI Assistent to the Deputy for Counter Intelligence. In contradiction to other reports the DOJ has said that Peter Strzok was given a limited security clearance in preparation for today’s hearing that ended when this was over. According to Paul Sperry @PaulSperry, Strzok and Page didn't just text, they also used iMessage (imsg), a built-in instant message service on Apple devices, to scheme during the Clinton and Trump probes. The real smoking guns are contained in these iMessages. The IG knew these messages work-related, yet Hoorowitz never obtained them. Oddly enough no one as yet commented on the fact that Strzok as FBI Assistent to the Deputy for Counter Intelligence exposed himself to blackmail by foreign agents:

Former (?) FBI agent Peter Strzok has been subpoenaed for a public Congress hearing next Tuesday July 10 at 10amET. It is unknown if Strzok will comply. (More) Aitan Goelman, an attorney for Strzok, said his client no longer wishes to testify publicly over fears that lawmakers are setting a “trap.” (More) In the meantime John Solomon reported yesterday that the FBI is now producing “damning” or “troubling” evidence to the Department of Justice (DOJ) inspector general and multiple Senate and House committees about Strzok's email exchanges with Pisa Page.

The memos show Strzok, Lisa Page and others in counterintelligence monitored news articles in September 2016 that quoted a law enforcement source as saying the FBI was investigating Carter Page’s travel to Moscow. The FBI team pounced on what it saw as an opportunity as soon as Page wrote a letter to then-FBI Director James Comey complaining about the “completely false” leak. “At a minimum, the letter provides us a pretext to interview,” Strzok wrote to Lisa Page on Sept. 26, 2016. Within weeks, that “pretext” — often a synonym for an excuse — had been upsized to a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court warrant, giving the FBI the ability to use some of its most awesome powers to monitor Carter Page and his activities. To date, the former Trump adviser has been accused of no wrongdoing despite being subjected to nearly a year of surveillance. (...) In one email exchange with the subject line “Crossfire FISA,” Strzok and Lisa Page discussed talking points to get then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe to persuade a high-ranking DOJ official to sign off on the warrant. “Crossfire Hurricane” was one of the code names for four separate investigations the FBI conducted related to Russia matters in the 2016 election. “At a minimum, that keeps the hurry the F up pressure on him,” Strzok emailed Page on Oct. 14, 2016, less than four weeks before Election Day. STRZOK CLOSED HEARING A "WASTE" OF 10 HOURS


Given that "Strzok is full of it and he kept hiding behind classified information excuse" it is now very unlikely Strzok will testify in a public hearing, or that it would lead to any useful result.
(...) the DOJ inspector general report revealed the hundreds of messages between Strzok and Page included one in which Strzok vowed to “stop” Trump from becoming president. But a spokeswoman for House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said Strzok did not answer many questions he was asked Wednesday. “Today Peter Strzok appeared before our Committees to answer questions regarding his actions while leading the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. 

Unfortunately, FBI counsel ordered Mr. Strzok not to answer many of the legitimate questions he was asked,” Kathryn Rexrode said in a statement to Fox News Wednesday. “We intend to hold a public hearing soon. I hope he will be more forthcoming at that time.” “There are still a lot of unanswered questions on who knew what when,” House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows, R-N.C., told reporters on the Hill during a break from the hearing Wednesday. 
“And as it related to this particular investigation, what was the genesis of the Russia collusion investigation?” Meadows said that “new information has come out,” but did not share specifics. While it is unclear what specifically was learned in the confidential hearing, a GOP source told Fox News that most GOP members have focused on the Russia investigation and how Strzok relates to the beginning of that probe. Before the FBI began investigating the Trump campaign in an operation code-named “Crossfire Hurricane,” there were at least seven different instances when campaign advisers were approached with Russia-related offers. Most of those contacts -- including Donald Trump Jr.’s much-publicized meeting with a Russian lawyer and others in June 2016 — offered the prospect of information damaging to Donald Trump’s Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.

President Obama’s director of national intelligence, James Clapper, has asserted that dispatching Halper to follow the Trump campaign "protected" it from the Russians. But Mark Wauck, a former FBI agent with experience in such tactics, sees an effort at entrapment. It appears that neither the FBI nor the Clinton campaign’s paid operatives came up with anything of substance. The seven approaches to the Trump campaign, as far as is publicly known, generated no evidence of coordination with the Russians. 
No evidence has emerged to change former FBI Director James B. Comey’s description of key parts of the Steele dossier as “salacious and unverified.” Nevertheless, the report of one person who reached out to a Trump adviser, Carter Page, was reportedly used to launch an official Department of Justice and FBI probe into the Trump campaign and the dossier was evidently a key piece of evidence used to secure a FISA surveillance warrant against Page. EVIDENCE OF SPYGATE WELL PRIOR TO OFFICIAL DATE


Last week evidence has come to light that Operation Crossfire Hurricane was set in motion, well before the official launch of the Russia investigation on July 31, 2016. Spies and agents provocateurs were all over the place; Obama officials got stand-down orders on real Russian intrusion, while Obama holdovers and saboteurs were ensconced deep in the State Dept. and the DoJ. Sounds like a great spy novel. But the evil part of this is, that arrogant deep state operatives were trying to thwart the democratic election of a President they did not like.
A Russian man that offered to sell damaging information on Hillary Clinton to the campaign of then-candidate Donald Trump revealed in earlier court documents that he had been a long-time FBI informant. The man, Henry Greenberg, offered to sell the unspecified information for $2 million in late May, 2016, but the Trump campaign associate refused. Greenberg, who also used the name Oknyansky, filed two dozen documents with a federal court in 2015, showing an FBI agent repeatedly brokered his entry into the United States on a special visa for people assisting law enforcement. “I cooperated with the FBI for 17 years, often put my life in danger,” he said in an Aug. 18, 2015, court declaration under oath. Nine months later, he came uninvited to a gallery opening in Florida organized by a public relations firm run by Michael Caputo, who was working for the Trump Campaign at the time. There, he approached Caputo’s business partner, Sergey Petrushin, and said he had information helpful to the Trump Campaign.



⏩ It has now been confirmed that Susan Rice gave the stand-down order on the Russian intrusion of cyber security.


The entire Russian Collusion story was a set up by the Obama regime. That has now been confirmed by Michael Daniel, the former Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator at the White House. For four and a half years, Daniel led the development of national and international cybersecurity strategy and policy for the United States and oversaw implementation of those policies. He said last week that Susan Rice gave him the stand-down order on Russian intrusion. In parallel we have Obama's Ambassador to Ukraine, Victoria Nuland who was directly involved in handling dossier at State, saying the British spy Chris Steele informed the State Dept. about his "dossier" and she merely passed it on to FBI; and that she knew all about Russian intrusion, charging President Trump does "nothing about it". How can she possibly know that? The woman is one of the most dangerous political hacks around, the instigator of the Ukrainian revolution that installed an EU puppet regime in Kiev.

Once again Internet sleuths unearthed damning evidence that the FBI was engaged in Spygate long before they let on. (...) May 25, 2018 The Ingraham Angle: Special Spygate Report with Jesse Watters.

Every day comes with new revelations and theories on Spygate, known in the deep state as Operation "Crossfire Hurricane". The Federalist explains what's in a name? (article). Does the name Operation "Crossfire Hurricane" reflect its British origins? Why has the narrative on the origin shifted (yet is still rooted in London)? Clapper and Brennan, while initially admitting spying "to help Trump, not to frame him" are now resorting to semantics about the definition of the word "spy". As former prosecutor Andrew McCarthy says: when the narrative keeps shifting, you're usually not getting the truth. Hiding behind semantics is the symptom of a losing argument.


The narrative is now that it was an "informant". An informant is a spy who is informing the enemy of what is going on within a country or an organization. But that was not the role of either Mifsud or Halper. Mifsud was planting information, while Halper was an agent provocateur. The generic term for what both men were doing, is called "spying".

People are now starting to remember things, that with hindsight get a new meaning. Some of it is throwing light on the origins of the operation Crossfire Hurricane. McCarthy has this:
The Trump-Russia investigation did not originate with Carter Page or George Papadopoulos. It originated with the Obama administration. Exactly when is the “late Spring”? Of all the questions that have been asked about what we’ve called the “Origination Story” of the Trump-Russia investigation, that may be the most important one. (...) First, they told us it was an early July 2016 trip to Moscow by Carter Page, an obscure Trump-campaign adviser. As we’ve observed, that story became untenable once a connection emerged between the Bureau’s concerns about Page and the Steele dossier. (...) With the Page origination story cratering, Team Obama tried to save the day with Origination Story 2.0: Papadopoulos did it. (...) But this rickety tale had the signs of an after-the-fact rationalization, an effort to downplay the dossier and the role of Obama officials in the genesis of the probe. (...) 
The real origination story begins in the early spring of 2016 — long before Page went to Russia and long before the U.S. government was notified about Papadopoulos’s boozy conversation with Downer. Last week, as controversy stirred over the possibility that the Obama administration had used a spy against the Trump campaign, the eagle eye of the Wall Street Journal’s Kimberly Strassel caught a couple of key passages from the House Intelligence Committee’s recent report on Russian interference in the election — largely overlooked passages on page 54. It turns out that, in “late spring” 2016, the FBI’s then-director James Comey briefed the principals of the National Security Council on “the Page information.” As the Washington Examiner’s Byron York observes in a perceptive column today, NSC principals are an administration’s highest-ranking national-security officials. As Trump won primary after primary in 2016, a rattled John Brennan started claiming to colleagues at the CIA that Estonia’s intelligence agency had alerted him to an intercepted phone call suggesting Putin was pouring money into the Trump campaign. The tip was bogus, but Brennan bit on it with opportunistic relish. Out of Brennan’s alarmist chatter about the bogus tip came an extraordinary leak to the BBC: that Brennan had used it, along with later half-baked tips from British intelligence, as the justification to form a multi-agency spy operation (given the Orwellian designation of an “inter-agency taskforce”) on the Trump campaign, which he was running right out of CIA headquarters. The CIA was furious about the leak, but never denied the BBC’s story. CROSSFIRE HURRICANE: PRESIDENT TRUMP DEMANDS PROBE


President Trump tweeted Sunday that he will officially demand that the Justice Department investigate whether federal agents infiltrated or surveilled his 2016 presidential campaign for political purposes and whether the preceding Obama administration was behind such action. Since it is the DoJ itself (AG Sessions?) that has been leaking details last week about a spy or even spies infiltrating the Trump campaign to insinuate stories about "the Russians hacking Hillary Clinton" so as to justify the Mueller investigation, it looks like President Trump and his AG have been biding their time to come out in the open until the Inspector General's first report on the Clinton Emails case is ready. That report is due any moment. Update: Rudy Giuliani has said today that the President may sit down with Mueller some time in July for a wrap up of the Special Counsel by Sept. 1. The list of questions has meanwhile been narrowed to 20. Update: On Sunday evening, the Justice Department asked Inspector General Horowitz to investigate whether there was “impropriety or political motivation” into the FBI’s infiltration of Trump’s campaign. This came just hours after President Trump demanded a review of whether Obama’s Deep State FBI did indeed spy on his campaign. (More)

The agents, one of whom Deripaska knew from a previous FBI case, said they believed former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was involved in the conspiracy, an allegation made in the infamous Steele dossier. “Deripaska laughed but realized, despite the joviality, that they were serious,” Adam Waldman, a former lawyer for Deripaska, told The Hill. “So he told them in his informed opinion the idea they were proposing was false.” “You are trying to create something out of nothing,” Deripaska told the agents, according to Waldman. In 2009, when Mueller ran the FBI, the bureau asked Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to spend millions of his own dollars funding an FBI-supervised operation to rescue a retired FBI agent, Robert Levinson, captured in Iran while working for the CIA in 2007. Yes, that’s the same Deripaska who has surfaced in Mueller’s current investigation and who was recently sanctioned by the Trump administration. The Levinson mission is confirmed by more than a dozen participants inside and outside the FBI, including Deripaska, his lawyer, the Levinson family and a retired agent who supervised the case. Mueller was kept apprised of the operation, officials told me. Some aspects of Deripaska’s help were chronicled in a 2016 book by reporter Barry Meier, but sources provide extensive new information about his role. Deripaska’s lawyer said the Russian ultimately spent $25 million assembling a private search and rescue team that worked with Iranian contacts under the FBI’s watchful eye. Photos and videos indicating Levinson was alive were uncovered. Then in fall 2010, the operation secured an offer to free Levinson. The deal was scuttled, however, when the State Department become uncomfortable with Iran’s terms, according to Deripaska’s lawyer and the Levinson family. Chairman Devin Nunes, R-CA, and House Intelligence Committee member Congressman Trey Gowdy, R-SC, met with representatives from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, FBI and DOJ in an effort to obtain or view the classified information requested several weeks ago on a particular individual related to the Special Counsel’s probe on alleged collusion between President Trump’s campaign and Russia. Question 1: Did Comey and his FBI improperly coordinate with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the Department of Justice during the height of the Clinton email investigation? He denied any coordination under oath. Evidence suggests this is not true. 
Question 2: Why did Comey leave out pertinent facts when he briefed then-President-elect Trump on the Russian dossier? He told President-elect Trump nothing of Christopher Steele's credibility issues or of the dossier's origin as a Democrat paid-for campaign document. 
Question 3: Did Comey and James Clapper coordinate to give the Russian dossier credibility and leak its contents to the media? The timeline suggests they held the dossier briefing with the President-elect for the purpose of giving the media what they wanted — a “news hook”. 
Question 4: Why did Comey fail to mention he had secretly hired his friend, law professor Daniel Richman, as a “special employee” of the FBI? (Professor Richman is the same friend Comey leaked government documents to). 
Question 5: Did Comey give his memo(s) to anyone else?

Warner exchanged text messages with a lobbyist of a Russian oligarch to set up a secret meeting on London, without leaving a paper trail. He eventually informed the Senate Intel Ctee who may not have comprehended the full extent of Warner's actions. The swamp at its worst. Even today Marco Rubio is defending Warner (source).
Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee who has been leading a congressional investigation into President Trump's alleged ties to Russia, had extensive contact last year with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch who was offering Warner access to former British spy and dossier author Christopher Steele, according to text messages obtained exclusively by Fox News. The less redacted Grassley/Graham memo from the Senate side of the Congress probe (PDF) confirms the findings of the House Nunes/Gowdy memo, and more. The Grassley/Graham criminal referral for the author of the dirty dossier -- British spy Christopher Steele -- filed on Jan. 4 has been declassified and released. This document states that Hillary Clinton and the DNC funded the dirty dossier. The dossier is fraudulent, inaccurate and unverified. Steele made false statements to the FBI. Even after the FBI knew Steele was the source of the media stories, they lied to the FISA Court about this and still proffered the Isikoff article to the Court.
(...) the FBI sought a FISA application based on the Steele Dossier on October 21st, 2016. From those UK court records at least two briefings with reporters, containing five outlets, took place prior to the FBI using the Clinton-Steele dossier in their FISA application. The “late September” briefings with the New York Times, Washington Post, Yahoo News, New Yorker and CNN took place prior to Christopher Steele meeting with FBI officials early October. The implication therein is that the FBI had to know prior to their October 21st, 2016, court application that the information they were presenting to the FISA court was being heavily shopped to media outlets. Fox News’ Sean Hannity said Wednesday night on “Hannity” that the Justice Department has started recovering some of the missing texts between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, citing DOJ sources. Federal law enforcement officials had notified congressional committees that a technical glitch affected thousands of FBI cellphones between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017. This meant that 5 months’ worth of texts would be missing from Strzok and Page, both of whom are under scrutiny after it was revealed that the former members of special counsel Robert Mueller’s team exchanged anti-Trump texts during the 2016 presidential campaign. Hannity said sources at the DOJ told him they have begun to recover some of the texts from that time period. Specific content from those texts has not been released. (More)

In a new revelation by the Washington Examiner‘s Sarah Westwood, Peter Strzok writes to Lisa Page he had “a sense of unfinished business” that was “unleashed” by the Clinton email case. “Now I need to fix it” Strzok says. Later, expressing the preconceived goal of the Special Counsel -- impeachment, despite of being no "big there there" -- he calls the Russia probe “an investigation leading to impeachment”. Before he joined Mueller’s team two weeks later, Strzok worked on the FBI "Russian collusion" team, so he should know!
Strzok wrote to Page: “You and I both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely, I’d be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that there’s no big there there.”  (More)

The couple exchanged a total of 50,000 messages of which 5 crucial months from Dec. 16, 2016 to May 15, 2017 have been missing for months. The period includes events as the publication of the "dossier" by Buzzfeed, the interrogation of General Flynn by Strzok, the firing of FBI director Comey, the tarmac meeting of AG Lynch and Bill Clinton and the May 17 appointment of Mueller as Special Counsel. Congress was only now informed. It's probably incorrect, but how bad relations are, is evidenced by a source who told Fox News that relations with the DoJ and FBI will be severed.

⏩ On the texts front, a number of new revelations have come to the fore. Just how biased and personal the hatred against the President was: "I hope the Trump hotel fails" and talk of a "secret society" meeting off site (according to a whistleblower) just after President Trump was elected, and perhaps implicating former President Obama (at 3:30 of above video in which Gowdy states that Comey updated POTUS). Stunningly Schrzok expresses his hesitation to join the Mueller Spcial Counsel investigation, because his gut told told him there was "no big there" there.

In yet another twist to the Strzok saga, the FBI failed to hand over a block of the agent’s text messages between Dec. 14, 2016 [post election], and May 17, 2017 [appointment Special Counsel] because they have gone missing. Or did they go missing? (...) However, according to the Daily Caller’s Chuck Ross, the FBI claimed it the reportedly missing text messages to Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz on August 10th, 2017. ⏩ One of the newly discovered messages, lawmakers said, appeared to indicate that Peter Strzok and Lisa Page knew that charges would not be filed against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as a result of the investigation into her email server -- before Clinton was interviewed by the bureau. (...) One exchange between Strzok and Page, dated July 1, 2016, referenced then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch's decision to accept the FBI's conclusion in the Clinton investigation. Lynch's announcement came days after it was revealed that the attorney general and former President Bill Clinton had an impromptu meeting aboard her plane in Phoenix.
"Timing looks like hell," Strzok texted Page. "Yeah, that is awful timing," Page agreed. In a later message, she added: "It's a real profile in couragw [sic], since she knows no charges will be brought."  
Four days later, then-FBI Director James Comey announced that no charges would be brought against Clinton, even though -- as he put it -- her actions in regard to the private server were "extremely careless." Jan. 10, 2018 Rep. Gohmer's razor: "Ironic that the Russians played the Democrats when the Democrats thought they were playing the Republicans". 

You could spend half the night trying to fathom why ever the Dems are near hysterical about Senator Feinstein's stunt to go rogue and release the August hearings with Glen Simpson of oppo research company Fusion GPS: now they really got Trump (@ECMcLaughlin thread reader),. Or so it seems. Or you could wait for Gohmert's razor to drop (video). The Russian playbook: they produce misinformation about adversary politicians which they then leak to the media. It is indeed ironic that in this case the Russians used the Democrats by way of Steele and Fusion GPS as a conduit to leak disinformation about Donald Trump.
