GLOBAL ELITES WILL SAVE US..


Nov. 1, 2021 War Room Pandemic with Joe Allen, Transhumanist Editor: Technology Will Enslave You — Global Elites Will Save You.

UPDATE: We have already seen that technocrats have a twisted idea of what makes Man human. It is his intellect, that nebulous thing called consciousness and most of all, free will. Harari gets intelligence and consciousness. But he shares with his techno peers the most important fallacy on the nature of Man, the denial of the our capacity of free will, which is at the heart of every moral choice we make. Read Allen's critique on the 60 Minutes interview here. The danger of all (techno) scientism is the morally neutral stance that is proper to science, but disastrous in its practical applications in real life. 

In "5 COGNITIVE SALADS THAT DESTROY REASON" we listed five common fallacies that are caused by mathematical thinking when improperly applied to other areas. The list is based on Dr. Anthony Rizzi's book Science Before Science (e.g. Aristotelian Philosophy):
  1. Math is morally neutral, which leads to a tendency to drop the Final Cause altogether, leading in turn to moral relativism.
  2. Math cuts off all relation to the physical, except for quantities, which causes dropping essences and
  3. serial thinking (the mind as an automotive, or assembly line).
  4. Algorithmic thinking without ontology (procedural, rote thinking) misses connections and proper understanding.
  5. Lack of clarity on the difference between immaterial Beings of Reason and material things in reality leads to confusing the one for the other (everything becomes 'the same').

Note that this piece entitled Transhumanism 101 portending to 'debunk' the most common criticisms of transhumanism, completely ignores the ontological aspects we just mentioned! 

James Poulos (vid 1, vid 2) has a very interesting book coming out in a few months, entitled Human Forever. We will review it after we had a chance to study it. Poulos is one of the few investigators who understands that the techs have a erroneous, materialistic view of the human mind. And because of it, the so-called singularity will either be a huge thud, or some clusterf*ck of unintended consequences.

"SINGULARITY HAS BEEN CANCELLED"

UPDATE: Saturday's morning edition of Warroom Pandemic was once more dedicated to the specter of transhumanism. We agree with Mark Jeftovic that the hoped for moment of singularity will remain forever illusive to the technocratic elites. At the root is the fallacy, that human consciousness is supposed to equal a super brain, which it is not. 

As Jeftovic says, Artificial Intelligence as such does not exist; what the techno elites are trying to recreate is actually algorithmic imitation. Consciousness is not solely the result of a supercharged brain; awareness is more than memory. 

Ayn Rand, in "Concepts of Consciousness" describes what human faculties are in play besides memory and awareness (see also Ayn Rand Lexicon's section on Consciousless): 

For instance (on the adult level), when a man sees a woman walking down the street, the action of his consciousness is perception; when he notes that she is beautiful, the action of his consciousness is evaluation; when he experiences an inner state of pleasure and approval, of admiration, the action of his consciousness is emotion; when he stops to watch her and draws conclusions, from the evidence, about her character, age, social position, etc., the action of his consciousness is thought; when, later, he recalls the incident, the action of his consciousness is reminiscence; when he projects that her appearance would be improved if her hair were blond rather than brown, and her dress were blue rather than red, the action of his consciousness is imagination.

In other words, consciousness requires complex moral evaluations. Without that faculty, what the technos are actually pursuing is mere cold, morally neutral perception plus memory; nothing close to human "intelligence".

The technocrats are working on another tower of Babel, something that human hubris excels at. Moreover, materialistic atheists labor under the fallacy that humans are the sum total of their genetically produced brains. Whereas in actual fact, it is the other way round: we are the producers of our own brains!

THE NEW RELIGION OF THE TECH ELITES


Feb. 26, 2021 War Room Pandemic: Mark Jeftovic, CEO of EasyDNS: transhumanism is the new religion of the technocratic elite.

Shunning like the plague is certainly applicable when postmodernism is applied to biotechnology. Philosopher Ken Wilbur has defined postmodern thought as aperspectival madness. It defies human imagination what the result would be when applied to biology. Either the Borg on steroids at worst, or a scrap heap of wasted resources if we're lucky. 

As the Thomist physicist Dr. Anthony Rizzi, CEO of the Institute of Advanced Physics has explained in his book "Science Before Science", scientists should read Aristotelian Philosophy before engaging in scientific work. When there is a fallacy in the basement, everything that rests upon it, is flawed as well. The result is known as scientism, or rationalism. We see it everywhere around us. 

At the core Postmodernism posits that there is no such thing as objective reality. Everything is personal opinion, a certain perspective of reality through the prism of the observer's own, private biases and perceptions. Everything is internal and subjective, nothing is external and objective. The sources and the consequences are explained in detail in the series "The Counter Enlightenment".
